About the event

Neurographica is an effective art modality open to everyone. Rapidly evolving and gaining popularity, it has been developed by Russian psychologist Pavel Piskarev in 2014.  This new art technique does not require experience or art skills, as the final image is unique to each person.

One of the main benefits of Neurographica is that it provides you with the direct access to your inner self. No need to talk, no need to verbally define anything, no need to share your emotions with anyone.

Neurographica is a straightforward method, easy to explain, that brings very fast results to those who try it. Clearly defined steps that one has to follow contribute to a stress-free onboarding and to an enjoyable and satisfying process of drawing, followed by fast and inevitable positive changes in people’s lives.

The most immediate effect of drawing Neurographic lines is slipping into this quiet, meditative state. Hand to paper, mind silenced; you just go there.  The “adult coloring book” craze recently is all about quieting the mind. Similar to doodling and Zentangle art, the lines, shapes and drawing technique is relaxing, putting you in the zone. You don’t have to try to quiet the mind, it just goes there.  Neurographic art process helps release inner emotions as you experience the algorithims during this workshop.

We hope you’ll join us along the way, as we draw our way into a new way of being, of seeing, in the world.  Come explore this new art technique taught by artist, Susan Weres, of The Art Room, local Arlington Heights art studio.  Susan has her BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, is a practicing artist, art educator, with a background in Art Therapy, Spiritual Director and owner of The Art Room.  She will guide participants through the Neurographic Art process.
