Starting Neurological Chiropractic Care begins with a deep dive into your health history and a series of non-invasive Insight scans. These scans allow us to see exactly how stress is affecting your nervous system, providing an objective baseline for your personalized care plan. We take the time to explain our findings clearly so you feel confident and informed about the next steps in your journey.

Schedule & Prepare
Call or contact us to get scheduled at the location that works best for your family — Arlington Heights or Pilsen, Chicago. We offer two options to make your first visit work for your schedule: come in for a full first visit, or start with a virtual history intake beforehand to reduce your time in the office. New patient paperwork is sent ahead of time so your visit is efficient and focused on you — not a clipboard.
Arrive & Feel Welcome
You’ll be greeted by name, given a tour of our shoe-free office, and made to feel like the family member you already are to us — before the care even begins. Our space is intentionally warm, kid-friendly, and free of shoes to keep things clean and safe for every baby and little one in our community.
INSiGHT Nervous System Scans & Health History
As part of our Neurological Chiropractic Care, we run our full three-part INSiGHT scans — HRV, Surface EMG, and Thermal Infrared — and walk through your complete health history from pregnancy and birth to today, exploring the physical, chemical, and emotional stressors that may be affecting how your nervous system is functioning and regulating right now.
Report of Findings & Care Plan
We sit down with you, go through your personalized results packet, and answer the four questions every family deserves clarity on: what is going on, can we help, how long will it take, and what does it cost. If there is stress showing up in your nervous system, chances are we can help — and in our experience that is true the overwhelming majority of the time. If you are a candidate for care, you leave with a clear personalized recommendation and a plan we build together. And if chiropractic is not the right fit, we will tell you honestly and help connect you with someone in our community who can. We are not here to put everyone on a care plan — we are here to get your family the right help, whatever that looks like.

Neurological Scans

Here at Bright Futures, we utilize the latest technology to accurately measure the health of your nervous system. The Insight Subluxation Station is a computerized, non-invasive & painless test consisting of thermal and surface electromyography.

The scans will show if there is any Subluxation (stress) in your nervous system and how it is affecting your organs, glands, muscles & energy level.

It allows us to find problems before you feel them! Your body can be malfunctioning for months, even years, before you experience any symptoms.

Since symptoms are always the last to show and first to go, it is important to monitor the function of your Nervous System which is what the Subluxation Station provides for the Doctors here at Bright Futures Chiropractic.

Because your care is based on the condition of your nervous system, not how you feel, this technology is the focal point of our practice.

Heart Rate Variability

Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is quickly becoming the gold standard for measuring cardiovascular health. This technology is a global measure of how stressed the brain and nervous system are. It indicates the amount of autonomic reserve and resiliency the nervous system contains to deal with the abundant amount of stressors in today’s society.

Thermal Scan

Thermal Scan measures temperature. When there are disturbances to your nervous system along the spine, there are often temperature differences from side to side due to inflammation and changes in blood flow. A thermal scan is non-invasive and reveals the condition of your autonomic nervous system controlling your organs, glands and circulatory system.

Surface EMG

Surface Electromyography measures the minute amounts of electrical energy in the muscles along your spine. Subluxations disturb the function of the nervous system. This can produce too much or too little electrical activity in your muscles. We use this highly-accurate, non-invasive scan to document your progress. It’s more accurate than how you feel.

Phase 1 — Neurological Restoration
This is where the real work happens. Your dedicated Bright Futures team walks with you every step of the way, and every 9 to 12 visits we conduct a full re-exam — retaking your INSiGHT scans and taking a deep look at how your nervous system is healing and responding to care. We assess your progress, make any clinical adjustments to your care plan, and offer lifestyle recommendations to further support your nervous system and speed up healing. Every re-exam is a checkpoint that keeps your care intentional, personalized, and moving forward.
Phase 2 — Bright+ Wellness
Once you complete your Neurological Restoration phase, you transition into Bright+ Wellness — lifetime care made affordable and accessible for your whole family. Once we know what it takes to create change and healing in your nervous system, our goal shifts to maintaining it. Research tells us that without regular adjustments, neural degeneration and neuroplasticity changes can begin to occur in as little as two weeks — which is exactly why we recommend staying ahead of that window with once a week care. That is the frequency we check our own family at, and every patient here is our family — so that is what we want for you too.
