What to Expect

Before Your First Visit

Your paperwork will be emailed to you after scheduling your initial visit. We ask that you provide as much detail in your paperwork. The more information you can provide, the better we can serve you. You must have the paperwork filled out before your first visit to the office.

Office Tour

In order to ensure you feel at home and comfortable, your first visit will consist of an office tour. We designed Bright Futures Chiropractic with you and your family in mind. Special amenities include a family room where you can comfortably breastfeed, change your little one's diaper or take a few minutes to quietly bond. This room is fully stocked with a changing table, diapers, and wipes. Since kids are our main focus, we also have a fun and interactive kid's area, where a kid can be a kid!

Discovery Day

At your first visit, you will have a consultation with one of our compassionate doctors. We will take a thorough history and discuss what has brought you in, why you have chosen to get help today, and your goals. Next, we will scan your body with advanced neurology-based technology to identify any area of problem. We will then take some time to study and analyze your results.

Neurological Scans

Here at Bright Futures, we utilize the latest technology to accurately measure the health of your nervous system. The Insight Subluxation Station is a computerized, non-invasive & painless test consisting of thermal and surface electromyography.

The scans will show if there is any Subluxation (stress) in your nervous system and how it is affecting your organs, glands, muscles & energy level.

It allows us to find problems before you feel them! Your body can be malfunctioning for months, even years, before you experience any symptoms.

Since symptoms are always the last to show and first to go, it is important to monitor the function of your Nervous System which is what the Subluxation Station provides for the Doctors here at Bright Futures Chiropractic.

Because your care is based on the condition of your nervous system, not how you feel, this technology is the focal point of our practice.

"We don't guess, we test"

Heart Rate Variability

Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is quickly becoming the gold standard for measuring cardiovascular health. This technology is a global measure of how stressed the brain and nervous system are. It indicates the amount of autonomic reserve and resiliency the nervous system contains to deal with the abundant amount of stressors in today’s society.

Thermal Scan

Thermal Scan measures temperature. When there are disturbances to your nervous system along the spine, there are often temperature differences from side to side due to inflammation and changes in blood flow. A thermal scan is non-invasive and reveals the condition of your autonomic nervous system controlling your organs, glands and circulatory system.

Surface EMG

Surface Electromyography measures the minute amounts of electrical energy in the muscles along your spine. Subluxations disturb the function of the nervous system. This can produce too much or too little electrical activity in your muscles. We use this highly-accurate, non-invasive scan to document your progress. It’s more accurate than how you feel.

Decision Day

When you return for a follow-up, you will sit down with one of us for the report of findings. By this time, we have gone over the results of your neuro-spinal scan and have created a care plan specific to your individual health needs. We will discuss the cause of your problem, how we can help, how long it will take, and what your investment in your health will be. If you chose to move forward and make a commitment, you will receive your first chiropractic adjustment.

Wellness Care

Your follow up adjustments are convenient and efficient. Every visit of your follow-up care in our office contributes to the process designed to restore your health and wellness. You will likely have more frequent visits in the beginning but will be seeing progress with each step along the way. Re-examinations are performed about every 12 visits to measure your progress, meet any changing needs you may have, and keep you moving towards wellness care.

Many people wonder if they have to go to a chiropractor for the rest of their life once they start. Similar to exercising regularly or brushing your teeth every day, chiropractic care can be used proactively to stay functioning at the highest possible levels. Rather than looking at chiropractic as something you have to do, incorporate it into your lifestyle as a success strategy.

Are you ready to live a brighter future?
