Dr. Angie D. Recendez
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Dr. Angie D. Recendez’ passion to become a doctor of chiropractic started after her life changed through chiropractic care at age 18. Growing up Dr. Recendez suffered from asthma, allergies, and frequent colds which affected her ability to play sports, play with friends and live like a normal child. This lead to missed days of school and decreased immune function due to frequent antibiotic use. Chiropractic care changed her health, life, and career.
Dr. Angie D. Recendez is a practitioner who is helping people of all ages regain their health. She helps pregnant women, newborns, children and grown ups! A graduate of the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Recendez has completed an additional 250 hours of training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association to better serve the health needs of pregnant women, families trying to conceive and children. While in school, she served as a leader of several clubs on campus, Campus Guides and tutored for the Neuro-anatomy class focusing on the central nervous system.
Helping people has been a passion for Dr. Recendez going as far back as she can remember. A mission trip to Lima, Peru to bring chiropractic care to the Amazon and neighboring underprivileged communities affirmed Dr. Recendez’ choice of chiropractic as her field of endeavor. It was the first time that people in the region were exposed to the positive effects that chiropractic care can have on a person (life) and Dr. Recendez was able to make good use of her bilingual English and Spanish skills. For Dr. Recendez, the experience was both humbling and motivating. She considers it an honor to be starting her career in a field that embodies her passion for helping others achieve wellness and better health.
“I am passionate about taking care of children and families! Being able to change the direction of an adult’s health is rewarding, but being able to preventatively make a difference in a child’s life is invaluable.”
Dr. Natalia Tabaszewski
Dr. Natalia's true passion for chiropractic didn’t develop until she began working as a chiropractic assistant after high school. It not only helped to improve her health significantly but also strengthen her interest in chiropractic. She quickly developed a desire to pursue a career where she could help people naturally and empower people to lead a healthier life through chiropractic care.
Dr. Natalia completed her post graduate education from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. While attending Palmer College, Dr. Natalia traveled abroad on a mission trip to Brazil to provide chiropractic care to underprivileged families.
Because of her passion to work with children Dr. Natalia enrolled in the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, where she is completing over 200 hours of additional training in pediatrics and pregnancy. This allows her to better serve the pediatric community. Dr. Natalia is also certified in the Webster Technique, which allows her to better meet the needs of pregnant mothers.
Helping moms and their newborns overcome obstacles to breastfeeding such as tongue-ties and upper cervical (neck) issues is close to Dr. Natalia's heart after struggling to nurse her son Konrad with a tongue-tie.
As a mother, a business owner and a woman trying to make time for everything, Dr. Natalia knows what it’s like to feel overwhelmed and to struggle with the balance. She sees how health suffers when moms don’t have the balance, when their bodies can’t handle the stress. It is her mission to empower the community of moms to be strong, confident, and healthy.
Both of our doctors have the privilege of being involved in the forefront of the research, as well as developing research behind chiropractic care during pregnancy and birth. Dr. Natalia and Dr. Angie are currently studying for their certification from the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and the Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics (C.A.C.C.P.) and training with world renowned EPIC Pediatric. They are active members of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and dedicated to creating healthy families.
